my points of view
your sensitivity is a gift. embrace it.
I APPROACH ALL TRANSFORMATIONAL WORK
your mind, emotions, body, dreaming, energy
as one integrated complex system
my points of view
Throughout my thirty-three years of teaching, getting educated, and working with clients, I have developed a philosophical and practical set of principles that provide a framework for the therapeutic process I believe in.
Naturally, this is a work in progress that might shape and reshape in future time.
i believe in:
problems serve growth
i believe in:
an expansive core self
Under your anxiety and stress, lies an inner core of a big, spacious place that is expansive, solid, stable, grounded, aligned, open, competent, secure, relaxed, non-judgmental, compassionate, creative, wise, clear, fluid, courageous.
i believe that:
healing is not fixing
You are more than your symptoms. All of us are. We are born whole and are not fragmented, even though we work with symptoms of fragmentations.
NO FIXING.
I believe that the journey never ends. Our healing work is part of a life journey and a short workshop of a weekend will not solve all your issues.
i believe that:
staying in contact with the body is staying in contact with a deeper knowing
In our culture, it’s so common to separate the mind and the body, even though science shows repeatedly that it is not so.
In healing anxiety, stress and trauma the mind and the body are so interconnected that you cannot focus on one without including the other.
For many of my clients, the realization of embodiment is a huge eye-opener and a great resource for their healing journey.
i believe that:
shift, change, and self-acceptance must include the subconscious mind
The subconscious mind is like a tape recorder that is always on and collects data (especially in childhood). It’s our boss! It does not analyze or reason. So messages from the past, unless we bring them into the light, are still very much alive and are still having a hold on you at present.
In your process of healing, we must tap into this layer.
How? Through body sensations, images, emotions, dreams, body awareness, beliefs, nervous system.
i believe that:
the right hemisphere of the brain is your inner world
The right hemisphere is your experiential self.
It contains a world of feelings, emotions, somatic sensations, forgotten memories, experiences, images, and dreams.
The right brain is where you encounter your shadow self, your depressions, and pains and it is also the place that shows you the way forward.
i believe that:
being mindful of the tiny steps
is the entryway to the micro-movements of change.
i believe that:
mindfulness is a state of consciousness
Mindfulness interacts with the mind-body duality.
Through mindfulness consciousness, the mind and the body become one.
i believe that:
i can’t fix what is not broken. you are not broken.
