Craniosacral Therapy – Part 2

Craniosacral Therapy Training

Clinical questions you wanted to ask but never did.

Will you be honest with me when giving an opinion to how many sessions I will need?

I am a firm believer in the quality of the therapeutic relationships (or the relational field) as an important part of the healing process.

I give no guarantees since each person and each system respond differently to the work. However, I am a highly experienced mind-body practitioner and I will give you my honest opinion to achieve the best results possible. I tend to discuss this in order to make sure that your treatment plan is a good fit for you.

How can such subtle work help me be better?

Despite its gentleness, Craniosacral therapy is an extremely impactful and powerful treatment working with a variety of physical, spiritual, and emotional conditions like fibromyalgia, injuries, migraines, back and neck pain, anxiety, inner tension, trauma.

I can sense the softening of tissues and the shift in an alignment, in a way that usually you don’t get with other bodywork modality.

Many of my clients believe that I have “magic hands” because I can find places in the body that hold pain and restrictions without being told.

Instead of increased pressure and force, clients often love these techniques because of their gentleness and profundity.

Can CST work even when many other avenues have been exhausted? When doctors says nothing can be done?

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy covers the entire spectrum of human functioning, allowing us to work with structure and physiology, nervous system dynamics, behavior, and the client’s relationship to life itself.

So this is possible. I have seen it happen.

Am I the worse case you have had?

Often pain, either physical or emotional can have shame and embarrassment associated with it. I have worked with a lot of trauma physically and emotionally and I am here to create a safe, listening, neutral and supported space for your system to express what is going on and then I will facilitate the processes that need to take place in order for you to recover, at a pace that feels okay for you.  I make sure you are getting the help you need to the best of my ability. Getting the help is what’s important.

How long have you been practicing for / how qualified are you?

Often people assume that a guide or a mentor or a therapist might have the best ‘shiny’ and perfect life.

Your life must be really perfect!

Honestly, I am extremely dedicated to my healing craft and getting help on my own healing journey. Just like you. I went through many traumas in my life and believe that I can take people on their healing journey if I have been there myself. I have and still do work very very hard on myself over the years and plan to continue to do that always, if this is what I am called for. I believe in growth for self and others.
